You Don't Have to be Miserable to Want More

Hello, my Sanity Seekers,

What do you do when you’re no longer aligned… but not quite ready to leave?

That murky middle—between clarity and decision, between commitment and change—is uncomfortable territory.
You might feel guilty for even asking questions.
Like it’s wrong to wonder if something else could be better.

But here’s the truth: It’s okay to be in-between.
It’s okay to explore.
It’s okay to want something more aligned—even if you’re still showing up fully where you are.

This week, we’re talking about loyalty, integrity, and the courage to get honest with yourself—even before you take action.

This Week’s Tiny Sparks of Sanity ✨

Small ways to stay grounded, mindful, and present this week:

🧠 Authentic Leadership Tip: Stay Honest, Even When You’re Unsure

Why it matters:
Leadership isn’t just about knowing where you’re going—it’s about how you show up when you don’t.
Feeling stuck—whether in a role, on a team, at a company, or in a pattern of relating—doesn’t make you a bad leader.
It means you’re human.

How to practice it:

  • Notice the stuck point.
Are you drained every time you meet with that client?
Avoiding a project you used to love?
Saying yes out of obligation, not conviction?
  • Name what’s true right now.
Not where you wish you were, not what others expect.
Just: What’s real for me today?
  • Ask yourself:
What would it look like to stay honest—without burning bridges?
    Maybe it’s a conversation. A boundary. A pause. A small shift.
Clarity doesn’t always arrive fully formed.
But integrity lives in how you navigate the murky moments.

✨ You don’t need to have it all figured out to lead with courage.

🧘‍♀️ Yoga Pose of the Week: Half Pigeon Pose (Eka Pada Rajakapotasana)

Why it matters:
This pose helps you settle into discomfort—physically and emotionally.

You’re grounded and still, but not passive.
You meet the tension with breath and patience—exactly what’s required when you’re in a life “in-between.”

How to practice:

  • From Downward Dog, bring your right knee toward your right wrist.
  • Lower your right shin down and extend your left leg behind you.
  • Square your hips and fold forward, resting your forehead on your hands or a block.

✨ Use the breath to soften into what is, without forcing a way out.

🌿 Mindfulness Practice: Tend the Space Between

Why it matters:
The “not-knowing” can feel unbearable.
We rush to clarity, just to escape the tension.

But growth happens here—in the pause between the old and the new.

How to practice:

  • Sit quietly for 5 minutes and name what is no longer true for you.
  • Then name what is not yet clear.
  • Finally, place your hand on your heart and say: Even here, I am whole.

✨ This practice helps you reclaim agency in the in-between.

🍎 Wellness Tidbit: Tend to Something Simple

Why it matters:
When life feels ambiguous or stuck, simple, tangible care can be surprisingly regulating.
It reminds your nervous system: There’s something I can touch, nurture, or complete.

How to practice:

  • Water your houseplants.

  • Wipe down a surface you always ignore.

  • Take five minutes to stretch or roll out your feet.

  • Prep a nourishing snack just for yourself.

  • Light a candle, sip something warm, and breathe.

✨ These aren’t distractions. They’re acts of presence.

🌸 This Week’s Delight:

A perfectly ripe peach. 🍑
Messy, sweet, and unapologetically itself.
